Finite element contact analysis and test of spiral bevel gear

The main research work is to analyze and study the meshing characteristics of spiral bevel gear with transmission ratio of 2:1 based on finite element loading contact analysis and experimental measurement. The research contents are as follows:

(1) The geometric model of spiral bevel gear is created based on virtual machining technology. Based on the principle of spiral bevel gear machining and virtual machining technology, this paper simulates the process of spiral bevel gear machining by generating method in three-dimensional modeling software, and creates the reference geometric model of spiral bevel gear. Through the tooth surface reconstruction technology, the three-dimensional geometric model of spiral bevel gear is obtained.

(2) Contact analysis of spiral bevel gear under static and dynamic loading based on finite element method. The tooth surface of spiral bevel gear is complex. In order to obtain a high-quality finite element mesh model, firstly, the tooth area is segmented. The geometric model of spiral bevel gear is imported into the finite element software to create the finite element model. The meshing characteristics of spiral bevel gears under static and dynamic loading conditions are calculated and analyzed respectively. A variety of performance parameters of spiral bevel gear in the process of meshing transmission are obtained, such as gear speed, transmission error, contact force, actual coincidence degree, contact area, tooth surface contact stress, tooth root bending stress and so on.

(3) System design of closed power flow spiral bevel gear test-bed. According to the structural characteristics of spiral bevel gear, a scheme of spiral bevel gear transmission test system is designed. The test and measurement system is responsible for driving and loading the gearbox through two motors; The speed and torque sensor is used to measure the speed and torque of the gearbox; Collect, process, display and save the test data through the efficiency instrument and the corresponding computer test software. After the design is completed, the construction of the comprehensive performance test-bed of spiral bevel gear transmission is completed.

(4) Experimental measurement of spiral bevel gear meshing transmission performance parameters under specific working conditions. On the closed power flow spiral bevel gear test bench, the main meshing transmission performance parameters of spiral bevel gear are measured through the control system and measurement system. Through experimental measurement, the change laws of the speed, torque and power of the master-slave spiral bevel gear under specific working conditions are obtained. At the same time, the change laws of the main performance parameters of the spiral bevel gear such as transmission error and mechanical efficiency under different working conditions are obtained. In addition, this paper also completes the inspection of the tooth surface contact area of spiral bevel gear by coloring method.
