Virtual assembly of hypoid gear pair

Virtual assembly refers to the process of using relevant tools in the virtual interactive environment provided by the computer to determine the position of the model and assemble the assembly parts by using the reference and link relationship between each component model. Virtual assembly is a simulation of the assembly process of real products. It can detect various problems encountered in the assembly process in advance, help designers improve the assembly sequence, deal with the constraint relationship between parts in advance, and record all the information of the whole process. At the same time, virtual assembly is the positioning process of a single part according to the constraint relationship between each other. It is an effective measure to analyze whether each part model is reasonable.

The design adopts the method of bottom-up assembly, that is, first complete the three-dimensional mold of the large gear and the small gear of the hypoid gear pair, and then enter the assembly mode. Click the “add components to components” button in the toolbar on the right, select the established three-dimensional model of the hypoid gear, add the part model as the component reference and its installation position to the component, and set the assembly constraints between the hypoid gear pairs. Assembly constraint is used to describe the relative position of parts in the process of virtual assembly to determine the fit relationship between parts.

Enter Pro / E2 0 software assembly mode, first import the big gear, assemble the pinion with the position of the big gear as the reference, and complete the assembly, so as to facilitate the follow-up research such as interference analysis, motion simulation and meshing area inspection of the aligned hyperbolic gear pair. The specific assembly process is shown in the virtual assembly drawing.
