Development status and trend of electric vehicles

Automobile is one of the most important technological achievements in modern industry. The rapidly developing automobile industry and other related industries are pushing mankind to move towards a more civilized industrial kingdom. However, the use of a large number of cars has had a very significant impact on human survival and the surrounding environment. In particular, it harms the surrounding environment of the whole city and causes various diseases caused by environmental pollution. In recent years, in autumn and winter, very serious haze weather has broken out across the country. Research shows that one of the important causes of haze is automobile exhaust. Therefore, from the perspective of industrial progress, it is imperative to study new energy vehicles. How to make the technology of new energy vehicles more mature, how to make the efficiency of new energy vehicles more efficient, and how to make the same energy generate more power have become the main research direction of new energy vehicles.

Electric vehicles, as the name implies, all or part of the power system is driven by electric energy, which are called electric vehicles. The three most conventional types of electric vehicles include hybrid electric vehicles, fuel cell driven electric vehicles and conventional pure electric vehicles. By comparing electric vehicles with internal combustion engines, we can find many advantages of electric vehicles. First, from the perspective of energy, electric vehicles can ensure the diversification and efficiency of energy utilization, thus ensuring a more reliable balance and full use of energy without pollution. From the perspective of environmental protection, fuel cell vehicles and pure electric vehicles are vehicles with zero or even low emissions. Even from the perspective of power plants, electric vehicles have greatly reduced the global pollution in terms of total emissions.

Electric vehicle is undoubtedly an efficient, clean, intelligent and sustainable green vehicle. With people’s concerns about environmental pollution, air quality and fuel consumption, all of these have promoted the automobile industry to gradually change from fuel-powered vehicles to pure electric or hybrid vehicles. However, compared with petroleum fuel, pure electric vehicles have very low energy density. Therefore, the minimization of system energy consumption is a very important factor in the conversion process from gasoline engine to electric engine, which can ensure that the range of energy provided by electric vehicles is as large as possible.

According to the strategic planning of major global manufacturers in the automotive industry, hybrid low emission vehicles will be the most mature vehicles in the automotive market. At present, hybrid vehicles are in a very rapid growth period. For the first time, with the rapid development of the charging pile industry in recent years, and a breakthrough in the overall performance of the battery, pure electric vehicles are also following the pace and growing rapidly. However, due to various technical and economic problems of fuel cells, there is still a huge gap and difficulty in their large-scale and large-scale promotion.
