Analysis of the lubricating oil film thickness of spiral bevel gears

(1) From the experimental study, it can be seen that the change rule of the minimum oil film thickness is the same as that of the central oil film thickness.

(2) The change of the oil film thickness of the driving spiral bevel gear at different speeds. When the load value of the driven spiral bevel gear is fixed, the higher the speed is, the smaller the minimum oil film thickness is. When the load value is 50Nm, the oil film thickness is obviously affected by the speed change, and the effect of different speeds on the oil film thickness is close; When the load value is 200Nm, the effect of oil film thickness affected by speed change is weaker than that of 50Nm.

(3) Change of oil film thickness under different loads of driven spiral bevel gears. When the rotational speed of the driving spiral bevel gear is fixed, the influence of the load on the oil film thickness is obviously not high. At low speed, the oil film thickness is generally lower under higher load, and the frequency of oil film occurrence is more frequent; As the speed increases gradually, the oil film thickness and frequency under different loads are closer, and the difference is very small at 600 rpm. That is, at a lower speed, the higher the load, the lower the oil film thickness, the higher the frequency of using the oil film, and the higher the consumption of the oil film; With the increase of rotational speed, the influence of load on oil film thickness becomes smaller and smaller. When the rotational speed increases to a certain extent, the influence of load on oil film thickness can be ignored.
