Test method for automotive gear forging stock

When testing the wear resistance of automotive gear forging blank test samples, the THT type high-temperature friction and wear testing machine was used as the core equipment of the test. When selecting a test sample, cut the test sample into a size of φ 10 mm × After cutting the 5 mm rod shaped structure, the test sample was placed at room temperature to verify the wear resistance of the automotive gear forging blank. Before the start of the test, control the load of the THT high-temperature friction and wear tester at 100 N, adjust the relative sliding speed to 120 mm/min, adjust the grinding wheel speed to 240 r/min, and adjust the wear time to 20 min. After the start of the test, the volume change of the test sample should be recorded in real time, and the wear volume should be calculated based on the relevant data. Finally, the surface morphology of the worn test sample should be observed using a JSM6510 scanning electron microscope (SEM).

BDL-500L tensile testing machine is used as the core equipment for testing the tensile properties of automotive gear forging blank test samples. When selecting a test sample, cut the car gear into a size of φ 20 mm × 15 mm × A rectangular structure of 5 mm, the test sample being a V-shaped opening with a depth of 2 mm. After cutting the test sample, place it at room temperature to verify the tensile properties of the automotive gear forging blank. Before starting the test, adjust the tensile speed of the test sample to 1 mm/s. After the start of the test, changes in tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation after fracture of the test sample should be recorded in real time. Finally, the tensile fracture morphology of the test sample was observed using JSM6510 scanning electron microscope (SEM).
