The single-stage nutation spiral bevel gear is obtained by sweeping along the tooth line with double circular arc as the normal basic tooth profile, which defines the design parameters at the small end of the gear, that is, taking the small end parameters as the standard. The basic geometric parameters of nutation bevel gear are shown in the figure. The tooth width is B, pitch pitch is r, the modulus of small end normal surface is Mn, the helix angle is β, the average dividing circle diameter is DM1 and DM2, and the small end indexing circle diameter is D1 and D2 respectively.
