Brief introduction of helical bevel gear

Helical bevel gear refers to the bevel gear whose tooth line on the crown wheel is a straight line that does not pass through the cone top. There are orthogonal helical bevel gear and spiral bevel gear.

The number of teeth meshed simultaneously in the transmission of straight bevel gear pair is relatively small, which is easy to produce impact, unstable transmission and high noise.

The large and small gears of the helical bevel gear pair have the same size and opposite direction spiral angle, and their coincidence degree is significantly greater than that of the straight bevel gear pair, so the noise and vibration are significantly reduced during high-speed operation. At the same time, the number of teeth of the pinion of the helical bevel gear pair can be relatively reduced, so as to obtain a larger transmission ratio and compact structure; When the helical gear teeth mesh, the meshing line of the gear teeth changes, and the load is gradually added and then gradually removed. Therefore, the transmission is relatively stable, with less impact, vibration and noise. It is suitable for high-speed and heavy-duty transmission.
