Calculation of tooth surface contact temperature of spur gear

During gear meshing, the tooth contact temperature and the instantaneous tooth surface temperature change in real time, which can be expressed as TCi (t) and Tfi (t), respectively.The body temperature TB will not change any more after the system reaches a stable working state. Simply, it can be considered that the two gears have the same body temperature.

By substituting the formula and the friction coefficient of the tooth surface under four different lubrication states into the formula, the expression of the instantaneous temperature of the tooth surface with time during meshing under four different lubrication states can be obtained as follows:
