2.Common problems and solutions of helical gear reducer

(1) Ensure assembly quality

Professional tools are necessary to ensure assembly quality. Original accessories are generally the best choice for disassembly and replacement of parts. When one of the parts is damaged, the principle of pair replacement is generally adhered to. When assembling the output shaft, pay attention to the tolerance fit: the hollow shaft is also the key object to be protected. If there is wear, rust or surface scale, it will affect the disassembly in future maintenance.

(2) Selection of lubricating oil and additives

The purpose of lubricating oil and additives is to protect the surface of the reducer with an oil film when the reducer stops moving. When starting frequently, the protection of oil film can prolong the service life of the machine and protect the machine from running at high speed and heavy load. The use of additives can also effectively prevent oil leakage, lengthen the mission of the sealing ring and maintain softness and elasticity. The lubricating oil of helical gear and worm gear reducer is generally 220# gear oil, and the use of additives is generally in poor conditions, such as instability caused by heavy load and frequent startup.

(3) Selection of installation position of reducer

If the location permits, vertical installation shall not be adopted as far as possible. Vertical installation will cause oil leakage and other adverse conditions.

(4) Establish lubrication maintenance system

“Five Principles” is one of the lubrication maintenance systems. The first is to appoint people for regular inspection to ensure a clear division of responsibilities; Then the temperature is strictly controlled. Generally, the temperature rise range is not more than 40 degrees, and the oil temperature is not more than 80 degrees; The amount of oil shall be strictly controlled to make the reducer get correct lubrication. When the quality of oil decreases or there is noise, it shall be stopped immediately and overhauled.
