Compound forging forming of spur gear

As the key component of high-end equipment, the research on the precision forging process of large module spur gear has many difficulties in practical production. A lot of research needs to be carried out on the precision forging process and formulate a detailed forming system. Taking the 18crnimo7-6 spur cylindrical gear provided by Zhengzhou Machinery Research Institute as the research object, this paper formulates the compound forming process of warm forging preform and cold finishing of large modulus spur cylindrical gear. The warm forging can obtain the spur cylindrical gear that meets the shape requirements. The cold forging process can improve the surface quality and accuracy, and obtain the residual compressive stress on the gear surface at the same time, Improve the service life of spur gears.

At present, there is little research on the warm and cold composite forming of 18crnimo7-6 material, and there is a lack of theoretical basis when formulating relevant process parameters. In this paper, the material model of 18crnimo7-6 is established. The influence of important parameters such as warm forging temperature, finishing amount and friction factor on the forming effect is obtained through simulation, and the best parameter combination is obtained, which provides a reference for practical application.

The characteristics and application of precision forging technology are briefly described, and the advantages and disadvantages of hot precision forging, warm precision forging and cold precision forging are compared and analyzed. This paper focuses on the research status of precision warm cold compound forming of spur gears at home and abroad.
