In the process of actual processing and installation of gears, it is inevitable to produce a variety of errors. These errors make the actual gear tooth profile deviate from the theoretical meshing position, affect the correct meshing of the gear, change the instantaneous transmission ratio of the gear, and cause the collision and impact between the meshing teeth Excitation error, which is called error excitation in gear transmission system, is also one of the internal excitation of gear vibration in the transmission process.
It is found that the tooth pitch deviation and tooth profile deviation have the greatest impact on the vibration and noise of various gear transmission systems. This is identified from the dynamic excitation when analyzing the gear meshing. The error excitation is analyzed according to the displacement excitation, which can be defined as the “meshing deviation” between the gear meshing. In addition, in a sense, the influence of other forms of errors in the gear transmission system on the dynamic characteristics of the system will be shown in the form of pitch deviation and tooth profile deviation. Therefore, when studying the dynamics of gear transmission system, the meshing error of gear teeth is usually divided into two forms: pitch and profile deviation.
In practical analysis and calculation, the meshing error of gear teeth is usually expressed as a harmonic function with the meshing frequency as the fundamental frequency. Therefore, the comprehensive meshing error of internal and external gear transmission can be expressed as follows:
Where:
E0 — constant value of pitch or profile deviation;
EA — amplitude of pitch or profile deviation;
φ m — phase angle of AE.
