The tooth surface of hypoid gear tooth is an irregular spatial surface with complex structure, and the mathematical model involves many parameters and complex relations. The author has completed the establishment of mathematical model, three-dimensional modeling and parametric design. Moreover, the parametric design system only constructs the basic main framework of hypoid gear design and preliminarily realizes the main functions of the system, which need to be further modified, enriched and improved. Due to the limitation of its own conditions, the proposed theoretical method and some parameter results have not been verified by experiments.
- Based on the geometric calculation method of Gleason hypoid gear and combined with the optimization design theory, a new design method is proposed.
- Based on the generation principle of spherical involute, the tooth profile theory of hypoid gear is deduced in Pro / E2 0 software uses equation to generate curve to generate spherical involute tooth profile and complete the parametric design of hypoid gear.
