Dynamic prospect of helical gear transmission system of hybrid electric vehicle

The internal structure of compound helical gear in the gear transmission system of hybrid electric vehicle is relatively complex, and it is very difficult to study its dynamic characteristics. Although this paper makes an in-depth study on the dynamic characteristics of the whole helical gear transmission system and obtains some research results, due to the influence of the author’s time and research experience, the system still needs to be further studied and improved in many aspects:

(1) All gears in the gear transmission system are helical gears. When establishing the system dynamics model, the axial degree of freedom of each gear in the composite helical gear mechanism is not considered. However, in order to deeply understand the dynamic characteristics of the helical gear transmission system of the hybrid electric vehicle and study the problems of vibration and noise, it is necessary to take the axial degree of freedom into account, which will be studied in the next step, The dynamic characteristics of the helical gear transmission system are studied comprehensively.

(2) The load sharing characteristics of helical gear transmission system also have a great impact on its dynamic characteristics, which will be considered in the next research work

(3) At this stage, only the theoretical analysis and modeling simulation of the system are carried out. In order to verify the correctness of the model simulation and calculation results, an experimental platform should be established.
