Finite element model of drive axle hypoid gear

The research object is a light bus produced by the company. According to the drive axle drawing of the vehicle, the Masta accurate classification model of the drive axle is established, as shown in the figure. In order to make the simulation results closer to the reality, the three-dimensional models of main reducer housing, axle housing and half shaft are established through UG software, and the HyperMesh professional software is imported for meshing. Bearings, main reduction gears and differential gears are built in Masta environment.

The main drive of the drive axle adopts an aligned hyperboloid gear with a circular arc involute tooth shape. The gear grinding process is adopted, and the accuracy of the hypoid gear reaches din5 level.
