Form grinding and grinding wheel dressing of spiral gear

In this paper, the principle and method of involute gear forming grinding are systematically studied, the forming principle of involute helicoid is analyzed, the mathematical model of involute helicoid gear forming grinding is established, some properties of grinding wheel profile and contact line are analyzed, the influence of grinding process parameters on forming process is studied, and how to select suitable grinding wheel and diamond roller is analyzed and designed The NC program is designed and a software is developed to avoid the complex process of repeated programming and make the programming open in any software. The theory is applied to the engineering and the experiment is carried out. The achievements are as follows:

1) The formation principle of involute helicoid is analyzed and studied, the mathematical model of involute helicoid gear forming grinding is established, the contact line equation is derived by analyzing the tangent characteristics of gear and wheel, and the algorithm of grinding wheel axial profile is derived according to the gear engagement principle. The data of grinding wheel profile is displayed in graphic form by using the numerical calculation method of MATLAB software flexibly. The properties of contact line and grinding wheel profile are analyzed to provide theoretical basis for the research of profile grinding.

2) The influence of grinding parameters on grinding wheel and diamond roller is studied by consulting a large number of books related to forming grinding and gear processing. Through analysis and research, appropriate grinding wheel and diamond roller are selected to provide a tool with appropriate parameters for forming grinding test.

3) This paper studies the system and overall structure of sk7032 thread grinder, analyzes the working principle and characteristics of the wheel dresser equipped with the machine tool, studies the influence of grinding parameters on the machining, and puts forward the specific repairing route of the worn wheel in the actual machining. By setting parameters and machining instructions, the specific program of grinding wheel NC trimming is compiled and applied to the test.

4) According to the actual situation, a visual and easy-to-use NC repair software is developed independently by compiling matlab m file, and the required files can also be used out of the MATLAB environment, which provides a strong guarantee for the smooth grinding test.
