Influence of adjustment error of machining parameters of spiral bevel gear on tooth surface contact

The table lists the precision adjustment values of machining parameters of large wheels. The accuracy of one machining parameter is changed every time, and its influence on the results of tooth contact analysis is studied.

First, TCA analysis is performed on the gear pair according to the vertical wheel position adjustment values in the above table. The results are shown in Figure 1.

By analyzing the figures in Figure 1, it can be concluded that the adjustment accuracy of the vertical wheel position of the big wheel has little effect on the contact area of the tooth surface, but mainly on the motion curve. By observing the change of the slope k of the motion curve when the abscissa is 0, when the vertical wheel position of the big wheel is greater than the theoretical value, the slope k of the motion curve when the abscissa is 0 is less than 0, and the contact area moves to the tooth root; When the vertical position of the large wheel is less than the theoretical value, the slope k of the motion curve when the abscissa is 0>0, and the contact area moves towards the tooth top.

TCA analysis is performed on the gear pair by radial tool position, and the results are shown in Figure 2.
