Influence of static transmission error on gear vibration state

Figure a) shows the influence of static error amplitude Er on gear slapping state. With the increase of static transfer error amplitude Er, the gear undergoes non impact, unilateral impact and bilateral impact successively, and finally maintains the bilateral impact state. When the machining accuracy of reducer variable speed integrated gear is high, the gear is in a stable non impact state. With the decrease of machining accuracy, the gear first produces unilateral impact and then bilateral impact. This is mainly because the coefficient B3 increases with the increase of error amplitude Er, resulting in the alternation of positive and negative values of FR in the formula, resulting in slapping phenomenon.

Figure b) is the curve of response peak to peak PPV varying with static error amplitude er. It can be seen from the figure that, firstly, in the process of non impact state and single side impact state, the PPV of reducer variable speed integrated gear increases slightly with the increase of static error amplitude er. When the double side impact occurs, the PPV value suddenly increases, which indicates that the vibration of the reducer variable speed integrated gear also increases suddenly. With the increase of static error amplitude Er, the response peak to peak value PPV is on the rise. It can be seen from the above results that improving the machining accuracy can effectively reduce the rattling phenomenon of the reducer variable speed integrated gear.
