Large spur gear machining based on NC machining

Mechanization not only improves the production efficiency and quality, but also greatly avoids the risks in the production process. The typical feature of mechanization is the application of various automatic and intelligent equipment, in which spur gear is an essential part. Spur gear plays the role of transmitting motion and power, increasing torque and changing the direction of force in mechanized equipment.

In recent years, with the more and more refinement of mechanical equipment, the machining accuracy of spur gear is also improved. The higher the accuracy of spur gear, the higher the quality of workpiece produced by mechanical equipment. Therefore, how to improve the machining accuracy of spur gear has become a research problem in the field of mechanization.

At present, there are many researches on spur gear processing technology. For example, taking spur gear processing as the research object, analyzing its cold forging process and existing shortcomings, and using computer aided engineering (CAE) technology to improve the processing accuracy of spur gear; This paper studies two types of spiral bevel gears, introduces their machining methods, analyzes the possible machining errors, and improves the machining accuracy of tooth surface; The error analysis and processing technology of spur gear on shearer are studied. It is considered that the spur gear error is directly related to the accuracy of gear machine tool. However, the above methods do not analyze the processing and forming process of large spur gears, which has the problems of large spur gear tooth profile error and large tooth direction error.

Based on the previous research experience, a machining method of large spur gear based on NC machining is studied. The method is divided into two parts. The first part analyzes the machining process of large spur gear, and the second part verifies the machining accuracy of spur gear through an example. This study is expected to provide reference for the fine production, processing and manufacturing of large spur gears.
