The influence of modification on the meshing dynamic characteristics of involute straight bevel gear is studied. In this paper, the three-dimensional model of involute straight bevel gear and the dynamic model of bevel gear pair are established, and the dynamic simulation analysis of modified straight bevel gear system is carried out. Due to time reasons and conditions, there are still some problems to be further studied in the research process, and relevant research work needs to be carried out:
(1) Because the dynamic equation of straight bevel gear contains nonlinear factors, its solution is more complex. In this paper, only the dynamic model of straight bevel gear is established, and the expressions of system displacement and velocity response are obtained, but the accurate results of the equation are not solved.
(2) Due to the limitation of conditions, there is no relevant experimental verification. In the follow-up research, the design and verification of relevant physical experiments should also be carried out to verify the conclusions of this paper.
(3) The modification amount is determined according to the elastic deformation. However, the influence of thermal deformation in the actual transmission process of involute straight bevel gear system on the working performance of the system is further studied.
