The raw material for manufacturing automotive gears is low-carbon alloy carburized steel, and the manufacturing process mainly includes five steps:
(1) Complete the production of automotive gear blanks using a forging process;
(2) Pretreatment of automotive gear blanks using a pre heat treatment process;
(3) Cutting the pretreated automotive gear blank to make it conform to the preset shape;
(4) Implementing a carburizing and quenching process to obtain a high carbon surface layer of automotive gears;
(5) Use the cold and hot machining process to finish the automotive gear blank, which can be repeated multiple times.
Automotive gears formed through manufacturing processes have advantages such as good wear resistance, fatigue resistance, and corrosion resistance. Automotive gears have high surface hardness and good core toughness, and can be widely used in the field of automotive manufacturing.
