The precision plastic forming part of spiral gear has high dimensional accuracy and less machining allowance. It only needs a small amount of cutting in individual parts to become a qualified part, which saves a lot of metal materials and machining costs, and can significantly improve production efficiency and economic benefits. The following problems need to be solved in the research of precision plastic forming of helical gear:
(1) Analysis of deformation law in forming process
At present, the research on deformation law is mainly in the field of mathematics, using analytical method. No matter what method is adopted, the current research on the deformation law is mainly force energy analysis, which can only get some characteristics of the deformed metal. How to use computer simulation technology and rigid plastic finite element method to simulate the metal flow and force energy state of helical gear in the whole plastic deformation process, and find out its change law, so as to achieve the accurate forming of parts by controlling the plastic flow of materials is a key technology.
(2) Spiral gear demoulding
Demoulding of helical gear is the key and difficult point in the research of precision plastic forming of helical gear. The gear teeth cannot be ejected according to the common gear tooth ejection angle.
(3) CAD / CAE / CAM of mould and process
The die design and process are closely combined with computer simulation technology to realize the integration of CAD / CAE / CAM for precision plastic forming of spiral gear, so as to realize the design, manufacturing, information generation and conversion in the process, analysis and control of material flow and optimal combination of process parameters.
