Therefore, according to the characteristics of bevel gear machining, we need to have our own set of numerical control system. Using our successful development experience in numerical control, we put forward the idea of developing spiral bevel gear numerical control system. In order to research and develop the numerical control system, this paper studies and discusses the NC machining theory of spiral bevel gears, which is helpful to apply and popularize CNC gear machine tools, improve China’s competitiveness in the world, and promote the development of China’s economy.
