By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of various forming processes and combining the process methods of producing spiral bevel gear blank by various manufacturers, it can be seen that at present, closed die forging, ring rolling and swing rolling are widely used in the forming process of spiral bevel gear blank.
Considering the forming size of the driven spiral bevel gear blank of the automobile rear axle, the closed die forging and ring rolling process is more suitable for forming the small spiral bevel gear blank of this subject.
The two processes will be compared by numerical calculation to determine the final forming process scheme of spiral bevel gear blank. As a new process, ring rolling forming technology, in which process parameters and basic conditions have a great impact on the test scheme, so it is necessary to briefly introduce the influence of parameters on forming.
