In order to carry out experimental research on spiral bevel gear, a spiral bevel gear transmission is designed first. According to the structural characteristics and test requirements of spiral bevel gear transmission, the scheme design and equipment installation of closed power flow spiral bevel gear test-bed are completed. On the test-bed, the speed, torque, transmission error and mechanical efficiency of the spiral bevel gear in the transmission box under specific working conditions are obtained through the measurement system, and the experimental detection of the tooth surface contact area of the spiral bevel gear is completed.

In order to carry out experimental research on spiral bevel gear, a welded spiral bevel gear transmission is designed; According to the structural characteristics and bearing capacity of the gearbox, the overall scheme of the test-bed is determined, and the components and measurement principle of the test-bed system are introduced in detail; The test work of spiral bevel gear under specific working conditions is carried out on the built test-bed. The variation laws of speed, torque, transmission error and mechanical efficiency of spiral bevel gear transmission under specific working conditions are measured. At the same time, the measurement and analysis of the contact area of spiral bevel gear in the process of meshing transmission are also completed. The test measurement results are compared with the theoretical calculation results to verify the reliability of the test measurement results. The test results show that the transmission of spiral bevel gear is stable, and has high transmission accuracy and mechanical efficiency.
