In recent years, companies in Japan and Taiwan have studied and applied the spraying technology of composite materials containing MoS2 and ultra-fine metal particles. As a new method in the field of pressure spraying, it has achieved good practical results in the field of high-strength automobile gear surface strengthening. The process is shown in Figure 1.
It mainly uses high-pressure inert gas to push spherical grinding ball and solid lubricant (MoS2) composite materials to impact the surface of automobile gear under the condition of high temperature and high pressure, and penetrate into the tooth surface for 1 ~ 20 μ M depth to make the metal surface 20 μ The phase structure at the depth of M changes, and multiple micro holes are formed on the tooth surface due to the impact of spherical particles, so that the surface structure is slightly compressed, resulting in the reduction of external stress and the significant improvement of surface hardness. It is attached to the surface through solid lubricant, so as to improve the self-lubricating property of the tooth surface. Reduce the tooth surface roughness, improve the meshing quality of automobile gears and reduce the meshing noise.
As shown in Figure 2, the surface indentation flatness of the inner edge of an automobile transmission gear needle roller bearing is greatly improved after composite material spraying treatment. At the same time, countless fine pits formed on the surface are conducive to the formation of oil film, so as to improve the oil film adhesion of the friction surface and enhance the fatigue limit.
