Compared with that before the test, the middle position of the tooth profile error line of each tooth is slightly concave, and the curve change is not obvious, indicating that the wear in the contact area of the pit type gear is relatively light, and the change of the tooth profile error value is relatively small, while the tooth profile error line of the smooth gear after the test is deeply concave, and the wear in the gear contact area is serious.

The concave degree of the error line in the contact area reflects the severity of gear meshing wear, in which the tooth direction error line reflects the smoothness of the whole tooth surface of the gear along the axial direction. In the case of lubrication, the tooth surface is not fully meshed and contacted, and there will generally be uneven stress. Therefore, the tooth direction error line mostly presents wave shape; The tooth profile error line reflects the smoothness of the whole tooth surface from the tooth root to the tooth top of the gear. The middle part of the standard tooth profile error line should be a straight line. Generally, after meshing wear, the tooth profile error line will have a certain depression. If the depression in the contact area is deep, it indicates that the wear in the contact area of the gear wheel is serious. Comparing the tooth direction error diagram and tooth shape error diagram of large and small gears before and after the test, it can be seen that the wear of smooth gear is serious, and the wear resistance of gear can be increased after it has a certain micro pit bionic shape.
