Compared with meshing stiffness and backlash, transmission error is the main internal excitation of involute spur bevel gear system. The transmission error of involute spur bevel gear is the offset distance between the actual position of the gear tooth and the theoretical position on the meshing line in the process of gear meshing, which can be described by the angular displacement and linear displacement at the node. Various errors and deformations between teeth will lead to transmission errors in involute spur bevel gear system.
The dynamic transmission error and dynamic contact load during gear meshing in the involute spur bevel gear transmission system can be obtained by using the system NVH analysis module in romax software, as shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2.
It can be seen from the above curve that when the frequency is 400Hz ~ 1120hz and the corresponding input speed is 1080r / min ~ 3300r / min, the transmission error and contact load have changed greatly. At this time, the transmission of involute spur bevel gear is unstable and large vibration and noise will occur. In addition, the maximum transmission error of involute spur bevel gear pair is 3.39 μ m. The difference between the maximum and minimum values is 0.87 μ m. The maximum contact load is 521n.
