Vehicle test verification of transmission gear based on optimal modification design

In order to further verify the effectiveness of this modification method, the optimized gear is assembled on the transmission for real vehicle test, and the sound pressure level is measured at the driver’s position by using the sound pressure acquisition device, and the sound pressure level at the driver’s position before and after optimization is compared, as shown in Figure 1 The position of the selected measuring point is shown in the figure. The measuring point is at the right ear of the driver and the measuring point is at the left ear of the co driver.

The results measured by the sound pressure acquisition equipment are shown in Fig. 2 and Fig. 3. It can be seen from the figure that before the modification, the maximum sound pressure level of the driver’s right ear is about 47 dB, the maximum sound pressure level of the copilot’s left ear is about 47 dB, the maximum sound pressure level of the driver’s right ear is about 42 dB, and the maximum sound pressure level of the copilot’s left ear is about 38 dB. At the same time, the overall sound pressure level has a small change compared with that before the modification This shows that the modification can effectively reduce the vibration and noise.
