On the rear axle main reducer of modern automobile, the most widely used gear is hypoid gear, which is characterized by the spatial intersection of the axes of the driving and driven wheels (small and large gears), and the spatial intersection angle is 90 °. The driving wheel is offset upward or downward relative to the axis of the big gear. Compared with ordinary bevel gear, hypoid gear has the advantages of large coincidence coefficient, low tooth surface contact stress, stable transmission, low impact and noise, high bearing capacity and long service life. The number of driving gear teeth of an automobile gear pair tested in the experiment is 8 and the number of driven gear teeth is 41.
(1) The developed vibration test software SSA of automobile gear works stably and reliably, which can meet the requirements of automobile gear vibration data acquisition;
(2) Through the data collected by SSA, the main causes of automobile gear vibration can be found out, and the diagnosis results are consistent with the actual verification results;
(3) The experiment achieves the purpose of finally analyzing the causes of automobile gear vibration.
As an important transmission part in the main reducer, hypoid gear has complex working conditions, large load fluctuation range, and great tooth surface contact stress and tooth root bending stress when transmitting torque. If the gear is not fully treated in terms of material treatment, part manufacturing, installation and running in, vibration and noise will be generated during the meshing process of the automobile gear pair, which will seriously affect the stability of the automobile operation and the comfort of passengers. In order to find out the causes of automobile gear vibration, it is very necessary to detect and quantitatively analyze the vibration produced by automobile gear pair.
