Analysis of dynamic load characteristics of spiral bevel gear transmission with additional damping ring

According to the method of solving the dynamic load characteristics of spiral bevel gear system, the positive pressure N1 = 323n and the contact stiffness A3 k = 6.13 of damping ring are obtained × Dynamic load coefficient history of spiral bevel gear transmission system with additional damping ring at 108n / M (as shown in Figure 1). It can be seen from Fig. 1 that after the damping ring is added, the dynamic load coefficient of the spiral bevel gear system is reduced to a certain extent, especially the amplitude of the dynamic load coefficient is significantly reduced, which improves the stability of the spiral bevel gear transmission to a certain extent.

(1) Influence of structural parameters of closed damping ring on dynamic load characteristics of system

The effects of interference, thickness and width of closed damping ring on the dynamic load characteristics of the system are analyzed. Fig. 2, Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 show the influence of the interference amount, width and thickness of the damping ring on the dynamic load characteristics of the system respectively.

It can be seen from Fig. 2, FIG. 3 and Fig. 4 that the amplitude of dynamic load coefficient of spiral bevel gear system will increase with the increase of interference, width and thickness of closed damping ring. Therefore, the influence of closed damping ring on dynamic load coefficient and dynamic response of spiral bevel gear system should be comprehensively considered in the design of closed damping ring, and the interference, width and thickness of damping ring should not be too small, Cause excessive vibration displacement and speed; It should not be too large, resulting in excessive dynamic load and affecting the stability of transmission.

The effects of the opening amount, width and thickness of the open damping ring on the dynamic load characteristics of the system are analyzed. Fig. 5, FIG. 6 and FIG. 7 respectively show the influence of the opening amount, width and thickness of the damping ring on the dynamic load characteristics of the system.

It can be found from figures 5 and 6 that with the increase of the opening amount and width of the open damping ring, the amplitude of the dynamic load coefficient of the spiral bevel gear system first decreases and then increases. There is an optimal opening amount and width to minimize the dynamic load of the system and optimize the transmission stability of the spiral bevel gear; It can be found from figure 7 that with the increase of the thickness of the split ring, the amplitude of the system dynamic load coefficient first decreases, then increases and then decreases. Similarly, it can be found that there is an optimal thickness to minimize the amplitude of the dynamic load coefficient, which can provide some theoretical guidance for the design of the damping ring.
