In the DEFORM-3D post-processing function, the time-dependent curves of the equivalent stress-strain and temperature at a certain point of the spiral bevel gear blank can be obtained. However, the change curve of each point is different, and there is no strong regularity. Therefore, only three representative points are taken as the research object here. The three points taken are shown in Figure 1. P1 is the upper point of the step between the outer side of the spiral bevel gear blank and the flash during final forging, P2 is the upper point of the spiral bevel gear blank body during final forging, and P3 is the upper point of the step between the inner side and the concave thin layer during final forging.

The time-dependent curves of equivalent stress, strain and temperature at the three points obtained from post-processing are shown in figures 2, 3 and 4.
