The new digital simulation method of cylindrical gear hobbing process is proposed, which provides a new way for cylindrical gear hobbing model simulation. It provides a new method for the digital simulation of cylindrical gear hobbing, but due to the author’s limited level and time, this subject still needs further research and improvement:
(1) A new digital simulation method for cylindrical gear hobbing machining is proposed. In this paper, this method only simulates part of the involute tooth profile of the gear tooth surface, but does not complete the simulation of all the tooth profile and the whole tooth surface. The model still needs to be improved, and the simulation algorithm also needs to be optimized.
(2) The application of the proposed simulation method of cylindrical gear hobbing machining is relatively shallow, and still needs to be further improved. You can also try to simulate a variety of errors in cylindrical gear hobbing machining.
(3) The proposed simulation method of cylindrical gear hobbing can also study the influence of hob modification on gear tooth profile, and the research in this field needs to be more in-depth.
