Dynamic simulation analysis method of involute straight bevel gear transmission

At present, there are many software for gear transmission dynamics analysis, such as ANSYS, romax, Masta, kisssoft and so on. ANSYS completes the transient dynamic analysis. Kissoft is good at the automatic generation of optimization parameters, but the results are not intuitive and detailed in further microscopic analysis. Masta appeared for a short time. The basic functions of the software (Gear Optimization, shaft strength check, gear strength check, etc.) are similar to romax software. However, Masta software does not contain as many modules as romax software, but romax considers more boundary conditions, which is closer to the actual situation of mechanical transmission.

Based on the three-dimensional model of modified straight bevel gear, this paper introduces the process of establishing the dynamic simulation model of straight bevel gear transmission in the professional dynamic analysis software RomaxDesigner, and carrying out the static and dynamic simulation analysis. Before the dynamic simulation analysis of straight bevel gear transmission system, the static analysis of the system must be carried out. Static analysis can check the strength and reliability of straight bevel gear to ensure the normal operation of straight bevel gear transmission system. Romaxnvh can be used to analyze and obtain the natural characteristics, transmission error and vibration response curve of straight bevel gear transmission, so as to analyze and obtain whether resonance will occur in the process of straight bevel gear transmission and the frequency and speed that contribute the most to the vibration and noise of the system, which can help to improve the working performance and dynamics of straight bevel gear transmission system.

This paper discusses the process of dynamic analysis of straight bevel gear transmission system by using romax designer software. Import the three-dimensional model of straight bevel gear completed by SolidWorks into RomaxDesigner with STL file, set specific working conditions and relevant factors, and complete the modeling of dynamic simulation analysis model. The static analysis of the straight bevel gear transmission system ensures the safe and reliable operation of the system under the set working conditions. Through the dynamic analysis of straight bevel gear transmission, the natural frequency and vibration mode of straight bevel gear pair, transmission error and frequency response results excited by transmission error can be obtained by using romaxnvh, so as to analyze the dynamic performance of straight bevel gear transmission system and the vibration and noise in the transmission process.
