Overall analysis, the design system of point-line meshing gear transmission has been basically completed. From the above research, it can be seen that relevant experts, scholars and technicians have done a lot of research work, and have also made a series of achievements, promoting the development of the point-line meshing gear design system. However, there are also some theoretical and technical problems that need to be solved in the research process, mainly including the following aspects:
(1) Perfect the design system of point-line meshing gear transmission system.
A complete gear design system should include meshing principle research, geometric parameter calculation method research, strength verification method research, dynamic characteristics research, experimental verification research, etc. At present, the research on the dynamic characteristics of the point-line meshing gear is basically blank. The research on this aspect is of great significance for improving the dynamic performance of the transmission system. Its research method can refer to the relevant content of the research on the dynamics of the involute gear. In the aspect of experimental research, only some performance verification tests have been carried out for the point-line meshing gear, and the test content involves few aspects, which can not fully reflect the advantages of this type of transmission. Therefore, the dynamic characteristic test verification should be carried out in combination with the dynamic characteristic research to better verify the transmission performance of this type of gear.
(2) Improve the processing method of point-line meshing gear.
It has been more than 30 years since the production of point-line meshing gear, during which many research achievements have been made, but it has not really realized large-scale application in industrial production. The main reasons include theoretical research and processing technology. The problems of theoretical research have been given in the previous article. In terms of processing technology, it is necessary to solve the problems of processing accuracy and detection methods, and at the same time, improve the processing efficiency. The purpose is to enable this type of gear to achieve large-scale high-precision production as the involute gear, so as to make the point-line meshing gear truly practical and industrialized, and give full play to its inherent potential.
(3) Improve the industrial design software of point-line meshing gear transmission.
In order to get large-scale application of point-line meshing gear in industrial production, it is necessary to develop mature industrial design software, which can enable industrial designers to quickly grasp the design method of this type of gear, improve the design efficiency, and promote its wide application. At present, although the point-line meshing gear design software has been developed, there is still a big gap between it and the mature industrial design software, which needs to be improved in the follow-up research.
This paper systematically discusses the research status of point-line meshing gear at home and abroad from five aspects of geometric parameter design, strength check method, tooth profile optimization, experimental research and engineering application, and points out that the research on the design system of this type of gear transmission is not perfect, and suggests that the dynamic characteristics, experimental verification, processing technology In the aspect of industrial software design, the ultimate goal is to make the point-line meshing gear get large-scale application in industrial production and give play to the transmission advantages of this type of gear.
