Influence of time-varying meshing stiffness on gear vibration

Figure a) shows the influence of the average value of gear meshing stiffness K0 on the response peak to peak value PPV of the reducer variable speed integrated gear. With the increase of the average stiffness K0, the vibration of the gear gradually weakens. Figure b) shows the response peak to peak value PPV of the gear meshing stiffness amplitude ratio α 1 With the increase of amplitude ratio α 1, the vibration of gear will gradually increase, which has a completely opposite trend to the average stiffness. From the above analysis, reducing the amplitude ratio α 1 can effectively control the peak to peak value of dynamic response of the gear, and the dynamic performance can be improved by modifying the gear teeth.
