Influence of tooth thickness deviation on vibration of cylindrical gear pair

In order to study the influence of tooth thickness deviation on the vibration characteristics of gear pair and keep other parameters unchanged, the method of Δ Es0~ Δ The tooth thickness deviation corresponding to Es5 is used to analyze the two excitation and vibration response of the gear pair.

The meshing stiffness of gear pair with different tooth thickness deviation is shown in Figure 1.

It can be seen that with the increase of tooth thickness deviation, the single tooth meshing stiffness of gear pair decreases gradually, which is due to the increase of tooth thickness deviation, which leads to the continuous decrease of tooth thickness.

The transmission error of gear pair under different tooth thickness deviation is shown in Figure 2.

It can be seen that with the increase of tooth thickness deviation, the transmission error of gear pair increases gradually, and the increase of transmission error excitation will directly affect the vibration characteristics of gear pair.

The dynamic meshing force of gear pair fluctuates with different tooth thickness deviation, and the tooth thickness deviation is Δ Es0 and Δ The dynamic engagement force at Es5 is shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 respectively.

It can be found that with the increase of tooth thickness deviation, the fluctuation of gear dynamic meshing force increases, which indicates that the vibration of gear pair increases. The reason is that the increase of tooth thickness deviation leads to the increase of backlash and transmission error excitation, and the system vibration is more obvious under the joint action of the two.
