When hobbing helical gear, the hobbing efficiency is higher because the hobbing process is continuous cutting.
The hobbing processing of helical gear is studied, and the hobbing processing technology is studied according to the hobbing principle, so that the hobbing processing of helical gear on ordinary hobbing machine becomes a reality. A new method of machining face gear is explored by using the existing ordinary hobbing machine. Hobbing face gear is not only an important part of the research on face gear machining method, but also a necessary link in the research of face gear transmission. Therefore, the research on face gear hobbing is of great significance.
Based on the hobbing of spur gear, the hobbing of helical gear is further studied. According to the gear hobbing principle, the hobbing meshing mode and hobbing processing are analyzed. The helical gear obtained by simulation meshing is compared with the face gear obtained by actual hobbing processing, and the improvement research is carried out. Finally, the existing ordinary hobbing machine is used for helical gear hobbing.
