Machining of equal height spiral bevel gear

There are two different directions of rotation for equal height spiral bevel gear milling cutter, which are divided into left rotation and right rotation. The left-hand milling cutter is used for machining, the optimized parameters are input to cut the equal height spiral bevel gear, and the accuracy of the equal height spiral bevel gear is tested.

The optimized cutting parameters are used for the machining of equal height spiral bevel gear, and it is verified that the optimized cutting parameters can meet the machining requirements of equal height spiral bevel gear.

Firstly, the shape and size parameters of milling cutter bar are processed on Gleason 300-cg grinder. The accuracy of parameters is verified by tool microscope and tool tester.

Secondly, the overall assembly and adjustment of milling cutter bar and milling cutter head are carried out on the cutter loading machine, and the optimized cutting parameters are programmed and input into the machine tool to complete the cutting of equal high tooth spiral bevel gear.

Finally, the machined spiral bevel gear with equal height teeth is tested. By analyzing the data, it is concluded that the processed equal height spiral bevel gear meets various requirements. Optimizing the parameters can improve the accuracy of equal height spiral bevel gear and ensure the surface quality of equal height spiral bevel gear. It can guide the actual machining of equal height spiral bevel gear and meet the needs of practical machining.
