Principle of fixture for hobbing helical gear

Based on the hobbing processing of spur gear studied by ZHY casting senior engineer team, the tooling and fixture designed for hobbing surface gear. In order to complete the hobbing of helical gear on ordinary hobbing machine, this set of fixture is also used.

The overall assembly drawing of the fixture is shown in the figure. The fixture takes the upper end face of the worktable as the positioning reference of the base plate 1. The base plate is matched with the plane thrust ball bearing 3. The upper surface of the plane thrust ball bearing is used as the reference plane to place the deep groove ball bearing 4. The outer diameter of the deep groove ball bearing is matched with the mounting hole of the workplate 5 to keep the end face of the workplate horizontal, This fit is equivalent to one side and one pin fit, which effectively limits the four degrees of freedom of the working plate. It is matched with the bearing seat 8 and the upper pressing plate 27 with the upper end face of the working plate as the positioning reference. Install the face gear blank on shaft 19 through the locknut end

The face is positioned and the nut 9 is clamped. In order to complete the hobbing of helical gear on ordinary hobbing machine, a fixture meeting the hobbing requirements of helical gear is designed. The main parts of the fixture are as follows:

(1) Y3150E hobbing machine is equipped with parts: hobbing machine workbench 1, workbench support 25, spindle and hobbing machine column 30;

(2) Standard parts purchased: 51000 thrust ball bearing 3, 160000 deep groove ball bearing 4, flat washers 6 and 22, hexagon head bolt 7;

(3) Non standard parts designed according to the design requirements: backing plate 2, working plate 5, bearing seat 8, U-shaped adjusting block 11, front and rear pressing plates 13 and 15 of the workpiece, blank 14, shaft 19, cover 21, fastening pressing plate 27 and pressing block 31.
