The gear box of heavy-duty truck is usually carburized and quenched with alloy carburized carbon steel materials. When entering the heat treatment, the truck gear has basically gone through the last process or the machining allowance after heat treatment is very small, which requires the truck gear to be less deformed or even not deformed during the heat treatment, such as the gear sleeve parts in the automobile synchronizer

During the processing, the tooth size has been controlled within the size range of the finished product, and the heat treatment deformation is required to be minimal. Therefore, the high requirements of truck gears pose a greater challenge to heat treatment.
