The senior engineer team of ZHY Gear is conducting research on spiral bevel gears. This topic comes from the scientific research project ofprocessing machine tools they are participating in. In view of the scientific research projects being carried out by the engineers, the Gleason hypoid gear is mainly studied.
The machining accuracy of spiralmainly affects the tooth surface contact, and various errors will affect the machining accuracy of the gear, but the final evaluation needs the tooth surface contact analysis. This paper will provide a theoretical basis for the adjustment of machining parameters in practical production by studying the influence law and sensitivity of machining parameters on the tooth contact analysis of hypoid gears.
