4.The hypoid gear has almost the same sliding along the longitudinal direction of the tooth surface, the tooth surface is worn evenly, the lubrication performance is good, and the transmission efficiency is more than 10% higher than that of the ordinary worm;
5.Under the same conditions, the end face modulus of the small wheel is greater than that of the large wheel, so the outer diameter of the small wheel increases accordingly, which is easy to balance the strength of the large and small wheel.
Due to the above advantages, the single-stage transmission of hypoid gear is easy to achieve large transmission ratio, and the primary transmission can replace the 2 ~ 3-stage ordinary gear transmission, which lays the foundation for the miniaturization and lightweight of mechanical transmission device.
