In order to compare the changes of tooth direction error and tooth shape error of smooth pinion before and after the test, after the actual wear test of pinion, the pinion precision measuring instrument used previously is also used to measure the tooth direction error and tooth shape error of form pinion, which is consistent with the measurement before the test. The pinion is measured with three teeth to grasp the changes of parameters as a whole.

It can be clearly seen that after the test, the two error lines on the right side of the pinion become uneven, the tooth direction error line presents uneven wave distribution, and the tooth shape error line has serious depression in the middle position, which is the contact surface area of the pinion, indicating that this area is seriously worn, The wear degree is reflected by the error value before and after the test; The three curves on the right in the figure are the tooth direction error line and tooth shape error line of the left tooth surface of the pinion. It can be seen that the error line remains relatively smooth compared with that before the test, and the change of tooth direction error value and tooth shape error value is small.
