Through the gear meshing principle, combined with the local conjugate method of spiral bevel gear, the basic parameters of gear pair are designed and calculated. The theoretical contact area is obtained through TCA analysis, adjusted and reflected on the tooth shape parameters, and the geometric parameters of spiral bevel gear are obtained, which are improved according to the precision forging process method.

2.Three dimensional modeling, meshing simulation and finite element analysis of spiral bevel gear; According to the requirements of precision forging process, the three-dimensional modeling of die is completed, and the malleability of tooth profile is analyzed.

The three-dimensional modeling of theoretical standard gear, gear pair assembly and motion simulation are carried out by using UG. Then, the die is improved according to the precision forging process to obtain the three-dimensional modeling of the die, and the feasibility of gear forging is analyzed theoretically.

3.The processing mode is mainly that the small wheel is processed by conventional tooth milling and the large wheel is precision forged by die method. The die out mode of the large wheel, the tooth shape change in the precision forging process and the method of tooth shape accuracy control are analyzed. The forging process of the gear is simulated by software to comprehensively improve the geometric parameters of the die.

The small wheel is processed by gear milling machine, and the large wheel is precision forged by forging machinery and precision forging die. The software is used to simulate the precision forging and die drawing process of gear, and the adverse factors are eliminated or reduced by improving parameters.
