1) Tooth isometric modification
The straight bevel gear model with equidistant modification of tooth direction is imported into romanxdesigner software in STL format or WRL format. After defining input, output, analysis and setting, dynamic simulation analysis is carried out, and the dynamic transmission error, dynamic contact load and vibration response (modal flexibility) curve of straight bevel gear pair transmission can be obtained.
It can be seen from the above curve that when the frequency is 400Hz ~ 1120hz and the corresponding input speed is 1080r / min ~ 3300r / min, the transmission error and contact load also change, and the vibration and noise are significantly reduced compared with that before shaping. In addition, the maximum transmission error of spur bevel gear pair is 1.13 μ m. The difference between the maximum and minimum values is 0.2902 μ m. The maximum contact load is 170.2n, which is much smaller than that before modification.
2) Tooth profile arc modification
It can be seen from the above curve that when the frequency is 400Hz ~ 1120hz and the corresponding input speed is 1080r / min ~ 3300r / min, the transmission error and contact load also change, and the vibration and noise are significantly reduced compared with that before shaping. In addition, the maximum transmission error of spur bevel gear pair is 1.19 μ m. The difference between the maximum and minimum values is 0.4093 μ m. The maximum contact load is 173.6n, which is much smaller than that before modification.
