Considering the complex tooth surface shape of logarithmic spiral bevel gear, in order to comprehensively scan the left and right tooth surfaces of logarithmic spiral bevel gear, rotary scanning will be adopted.
Start the 3D family equipment, open the scanning software scan3dnow, move the 3damily laser lens to the rotation center, and align the central axis of the logarithmic spiral bevel gear with the thunder ray. Continue to move the X, y and Z axes. On the other hand, use the display grid key to highlight the leading edge of the logarithmic spiral bevel gear. Through the adjustment of laser power slider and image brightness contrast slider, satisfactory light effect is achieved. After determining the z-axis travel, set the scanning angle and scanning spacing (step) from the rotary scan RGN. At this time, the parameter setting of each axis of rotary scanning has been completed. First press the zero key to zero the T axis, and then press scan to set the scanning parameters. After parameter setting, click the scan button to start scanning. When the words “scanning process finished” appear on the screen, the scanning effect picture appears, as shown in the figure.
