Using the self-developed three-dimensional parametric modeling software of spiral bevel gear, a pair of spiral bevel gears are established, and then the meshing stiffness of spiral bevel gear is analyzed and studied based on ANSYS, which lays a foundation for the dynamic analysis of spiral bevel gear transmission.

3) Analysis of dynamic characteristics of spiral bevel gear transmission

Based on the lumped mass method, an eight degree of freedom bending torsion shaft coupling nonlinear vibration dynamic model of spiral bevel gear transmission is established; The Runge Kutta method is used to solve the dynamic equation, and the natural characteristics and dynamic response characteristics of spiral bevel gear transmission are studied; The influence of transmission parameters on the dynamic load characteristics of spiral bevel gear transmission is analyzed.

4) Contact analysis of damping ring

The damping principle of damping ring is discussed; Using the relevant knowledge of elastic-plastic mechanics and structural mechanics, the contact analysis and calculation of closed damping ring and open damping ring are carried out, and the contact pressure between them and gear groove is solved respectively; The contact stiffness between damping ring and gear is calculated by using the knowledge of contact mechanics.

5) Dynamic characteristics analysis of spiral bevel gear transmission system with additional damping ring
